What area are services offered?
Currently we only service Spearfish and the immediate area.

How often should I change my oil?
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend changing motor oil every 5,000 miles or every year, whichever comes first, for exact information consult your owners manual.

Can I purchase appointments for individuals other then myself?
Yes you may purchase for other people (family, friends, etc.) just be sure to put in their vehicle information, not your own.

Where can services done?​
Services can be performed anywhere that is flat, and allows the technicians enough room to work around the vehicle (approximately 4-5 feet).

Can I cancel my appointment and get a refund?
Cancelations up to 24 hours before the appointment time will be refunded in full, cancelations under 24 hours will be refunded and charged a cancelation fee.

Can I reschedule an appointment?
To reschedule a service please visit the contact us page and get ahold of us through your preferred communication method, or send us a message through the chat box on the bottom right of the site.

How can I see available booking dates/times?
After selecting a service the booking calendar will appear with all available booking times and dates for you to choose from.

Can service times change due to inclement weather?
If the weather is poor at the time of appointment we may contact you via email to reschedule the appointment date/time.

Do I need to provide the technicians keys to the vehicle(s)?
No we do not need your keys but the drivers door must be unlocked so we can access your hood release handle and your vehicles OBD2 port.

What payment methods are accepted?
Currently only digital payments are accepted.

Why don't I see my vehicle manufacture in the list?
​Black Hills AutoMobile currently only services a select amount of vehicle manufactures. If you think your vehicle should be in the list but isn't, please contact us.

Is the fluid service messy?
We lay absorbent material underneath the vehicle to catch any drips, and wipe clean any fluid that may get elsewhere to leave the space as we found it.

How long does an appointment last?
Time may vary depending on the scheduled services but are generally completed in under an hour.

What if I have a concern about services that were performed?
Please contact us, we offer a free checkup and review of work done up to 48 hours after service has been completed.

How do you dispose of used fluids?
We take all used fluids to a recycling center so they may be reused or disposed of in a environmentally friendly way.
